What the held texts say about it
The held works give little on what the book argues. Levin (2019) cites Prigogine (1980) among sources approaching the definition of an organism or compound individual through thermodynamics and dissipative systems, alongside work from evolution, game theory, systems theory and immunology. It appears as one reference in a list, supporting the point that individuality has been analysed from several disciplines. Ciaunica et al. cite only Prigogine and Nicolis (1967), not this book.
